Studio 32 theatre company move into the Village Theatre from the 21st to the 24th of March.  'Absolute Divas' is a tribute to musical theatre, and showcases popular songs from a variety of musicals including classics such as Les Miserables and Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as songs from more traditional favourites such as Grease, West Side Story and Mary Poppins.

Modern favourites from West End shows like Rent, The Producers, Moulin Rouge, Chicago and The Lion King are also performed, all with the passion expected from Studio 32.

This production reunites many of the talented cast and musicians who worked on the energetic sell-out performances of Fame in October.  Popular local band 'The Misfits' return, with musical production and arrangement from professional sound recording company 'BabyGrand'.

A link is provided between the performances by the creation of a story in which we join the attendees of a musical audition process from the display of their attitudes and talents to a finished production, using skillful choreography and costume design. 

Timing of this show provides a fantastic opportunity to present your Mother or Grandmother with an enjoyable present, without having to travel to London for the memorable experience, or for the local community to enjoy songs from shows rarely available outside the West End.
